We all know about the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix, right? It’s the king of all races. It is the ultimate championship race of motorcycle road racing. The Grand Prix is divided into three classes: the 125cc, Moto 2, and the MotoGP. Motorcycles which compete in the Grand Prix are purposefully built for the race. The machines are not available for any public or general purchase. The bikes are also not permitted on public roads. Get a 520 conversion before you try ok?

The race was first organized by the FIM, or the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme. It started in 1949. Since then, a lot of changes in the rules, the classes, and the race tracks have already take place.

The 125cc class is races for bikes with machines restricted to a single cylinder and weigh a minimum of 80kilograms. The Moto2 class features bikes with engines that are manufactured by Honda and tires by Dunlop. Only steel brakes are allowed for this race, and carbon fiber brakes are not permitted. The bikes competing in the MotoGP class are not restricted to any engine configuration. The maximum engine capacity allowed is 800cc.

I would recommend watching the documentary film called Faster. It is all about MotoGP. It was released in 2003, but it is now available on DVD.

Surprise Surprise It

My husband pulled off his first and only surprise to me on my thirtieth birthday. We had been invited over to some friend’s house for dinner and I, being totally me, had a complete melt down beforehand trying to decide what to wear. I was totally worked up about my silly outfit and what dish to bring to share! Crazy stuff I tell you, carazier than getting head lice! Anyway, so we were supposed to be at their house at three that afternoon and by four we were just leaving the house. I was all stressed out over something as silly as my clothes and food! My poor husband now driving like a crazy man down the beach! We arrive at their home and as we walk in I notice a birthday cake sitting on their stove. I remember thinking to myself that she must have made that for my boys because their birthday is just a few days from mine. When I heard the giant crowd scream, “SURPRISE” it still didn’t totally register with me! And there I was making everyone wait forever!!! Now they were all smiling and hollering at me “Happy Birthday!!!” I felt like a total goof, but a very, very blessed one!

Funning With The Fam

As a joke one time I decided that it would be funny to give my husband a small hickey on his neck. I thought it was hilarious one weekend and the little thing was still there when he went to work on Monday. He called me in the morning hours to let me know that his office staff had noticed the silly thing and that he was now the butt of many jokes around the office. Of course, I still thought that was pretty funny. It wasn’t until his after lunch call that I started to think that this was not such a great idea. He called to inform me that he had been pulled into his boss’s office and spoken to sternly about office policy and proper personal appearance. With that he had told me he had to go as there was a meeting now happening “in his honor” with several heads of the company. Of course I started to sweat and feel just awful that my little joke had gone this far. An hour later he called to let me know that he had been terminated for some sort of indecent behavior at work. I was totally devastated and starting crying. It was then that he whispered sweetly two little words “April Fools”. Who knew it was April first!

Ambit Energy Scam Complaints?

I was recently approached by a good friend who wanted me to join this Ambit Energy marketing thing. He said that since he and I were friends, I should trust him and sign up. I don’t know if that makes any difference, but the thing really is a typical multi level marketing thing and that right there turns me off big time.
I was wondering what you guys thought about it too?
I did some research, well, because I was curious, and I found a site about Ambit Energy Scam Complaints.
THe site is definitely one sided. I mean, the author got burned on this socalled “scam” and he is not afraid to talk about it. But really, he mentions something that hit home for me. he said that he did not like all the pressuring he was asked to do with his friends and family. Which brings me back to the first part of this little blog post. That really did make it feel somewhat like a “scam.”
what do you guys think? should I look into the ambit energy thing or just let it go?

Putting a newborn baby up for adoption is the best decision for teenaged girls who are still in school. They do not have the skills, nor the maturity level, for coping with newborns. Teenage Mothers financially have zero means to support the child. The Grandparents often end up as the primary caretakers.

Couples, who are unable to conceive, have dreams of a newborn in the house. They allow themselves to be heavily scrutinized from the organizations that have the responsibility in placing the children. The couples find themselves with financial means, the love to give, and plenty of time to spend with the adoptive babies.

However, society needs to get away from the open adoptions. Far to many couples allow themselves to be taken advantage. Many times a birth mother may change her mind when the baby is born. Other times the birth mother is deceitful from the beginning. The birth mothers are making many demands on the adoptive parents, both financially and supportive. The adoptive parents find themselves almost parenting the teenager, giving into their wants and desires. Teenage birth mothers only prove how unfit they are as parents, with this spoiled brat behavior.

Homes for pregnant teenagers are the best solution. This worked well in the past. The baby is born and put into the arms of loving parents. There is no need for the adoptive parents to be approved, by the immature teenager.

Loneliness is just a part of being human. Nobody is exempt. No matter how strong our faith is, or how much spiritual or personal growth we’ve been through, there are times when, inevitably, loneliness will fill our lives. The death of a loved one, the illness of a child, divorce, a break up, making tough decisions, in favor of an unpopular event, even doing what we know to be the right thing can also isolate us from others in a very painful- yet unavoidable way.

At times, we cannot find an exact trigger for these feelings – we somehow just feel disconnected from the flow things and those around us. We could be attempting to run away from the discomfort by going off to work, to a friends, or some activity. Even though this might provide a little temporary relief, it will usually increase our feelings of isolation. Like any emotion, any attempt to suppress or deny the loneliness will only give it more power. When we’re willing to face and accept what we’re feeling will often reduce the intensity of the experience.

No one really considers loneliness to be enjoyable, it encourages us to reach out to others, and to find support beyond what we are familiar with. To call a friend, go outside for the day and breathe the fresh air, or expressing our pain to someone can help us get it out of our system, out of our hearts and minds in a way that is therapeutic. Just Reading inspirational material can help us gain perspective. If we have been grieving over a major loss, we are able to find support groups that deal with these kinds of issue.

A lot of people lead busy lives that causes feelings of loneliness. It could be due to the isolation from themselves. The answer may be to spend some quality time with ourselves. But, couldn’t honestly show others who we are, because we didn’t even know who we were ourselves.

The journey to and from loneliness is both filled with a paradox. We’ve learned that we are not perfect saints, nor are we perfect sinners. Just simply human. Granted, we are capable of doing wrong, but there is a basic goodness in each of us as well. And as we open up to accepting ourselves and others for who we are, we find the good quite frequently, more so than the wrongs. It is by sharing our vulnerabilities and weaknesses with others that we find peace, a mutual understanding and a sense of connectedness with others.

When we find where we belong in life, loneliness becomes a lesser part of.
